LABOR UNIONS
Labor Union - noun - \ ˈyün-yən \ - an organization of workers formed for the purpose of advancing its members' interests in respect to wages, benefits, and working conditions.
They drive the buses, pick up the trash, clean the government buildings and help the disabled with in-home supportive services.
They are public employees, the faces of local government.
PivotHound has helped these workers in recent bargaining campaigns to recover the wages and benefits lost as concessions during and after the 2008 Recession.
Our work has included giving strategic advice to union leadership; meeting with union researchers; reviewing the minutes of public meetings; and drafting talking points and an Op Ed for placement to support the union position during negotiations.
PivotHound – Crafting collective narratives for the greater good.
